Indy band Of Montreal have been accused of selling out since they've made a good bit of money selling their music to commercials for use in pushing various products and services, including Outback Steakhouse and Verizon Wireless. A music blog by the name of Stereogum caught up with them for an interview, and the result was frontman Kevin Barnes writing an article for the blog addressing the issue himself. He raises some good points here:

Got in a book review for Bruce Campbell's "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions Of A B Movie Actor". It was given to me by [info]j_wolfman , and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It is one of the better biographies I've had the pleasure of coming across. Not only that, but the copy I was given was autographed, and a personal account of the autograph experience was written on the inside of the back cover. Way cool. Thanks again, man!
